We are not necessarily doomed

The apolcolypse does not need to happen.Apocolyptic thinking is merely a result of our culture’s vision. Our culture includes 99.99% of the world population and it’s vision is that, “the world was made for man and we were meant to conquer and rule it.”and this is the”one right way to live.” This vision, if not changed, will result in, more radioactive waste, increasing food production(,thus increasing human population, thus increasing famine),less rainforests, more garbage,a bigger hole in the ozone layer, etc.But there is another vision shared by the ~10 000 cultures before our culture was born almost 10 000 years ago,and even today by pockets of humanity still not “conquered” by our way of life. These tribal peoples still have the vision that” the world is a sacred place and a sacred process and we’re apart of it.” We are not all of humanity,we are not inherently evil, and we are not necessarily doomed. We need only change our vision.
