Since I was a child I have always noticed that I was always concerned or worried about apocalyptic events or seeming apocalyptic circumstances. However the apocalyptic dream I can remember vividly now of having is only one. On the same hand I can also remember having a recurring vision about the future which I will share now with the dream.

In the dream, I saw myself in the street of a town where everybody seemed to be on the street running helter skelter in panic as the sky continued been darkened, and a heavy storm threatened. Suddenly there appeared many snakes, most of them black and dark in colour. And to make matters worse, they were all flying about in the streets chasing the stampeding men furiously. Everybody were trying to hide from the dart of the flying snakes. I was also dodging the snakes as they flew towards me. Nobody was spared,there was pandemonium and anarchy. It was a plague. I woke.

The vision I had concerning the apocalypse was a recurring one but not experienced during sleep. It was a vision of maximum heat on earth. The heat became so bad that one cannot breathe unless you put your head inside a refrigerator or deep freezer; no other thing could help. People in everyhome now queued up to take a lungful of life-giving air one person a time.

Concerning my first dream, I finally found the answer when I became a bible-believing christian. The answer is in the book of Revelation, the place where some demons came to the earth to torment man for a period of time without killing them, the name of the leader of the horde of demons is Apollyon.
