And Richard finally beheld the Beast in all its mind-bending glory!
The thing towered roughly thirty meters in height and covered in red spots like a leopard. Six ursine feet, each equipped with eight hooked claws on opposable toes grasped the sides of the two horns of the dragon’s head making the stance of a spider monkey.
The light which allowed Richard to see came from seven sigils, one on each of the creature’s heads. The symbols gave off a soft green glow, but alas Richard could not look upon them, for they formed words in his mind, words wholly unfamiliar but somehow obscene and blasphemous, causing him shame and instilling a desire to be punished if he even attempted to comprehend them.
Each of its seven heads were leonine in shape. But as if all the fur and flesh had been scraped off and chitinous armor had been put in its place, shot though with blood-red “veins” like rivers of lava; fueling the beast with some unworldly ichor. It’s fourteen eye sockets were left empty, save for an illuminating spark; neither electric nor thermal, but possessing qualities of both energies.
Those markings which Richard first thought were decorative spots were in fact eyes; bone-lidded and blood-shot orbs, all staring at him with a feral intelligence.
Uh…It wouldn’t actually be a beast, you see. That’s what we call a METAPHOR.
the bible is too broad to really tell what is going on in revelations, like they want you to make your own ideas or visualizations of what they see. so its not too definite, i wonder why though…?
I can’t help but wonder why people do not understand the book of Revelation. After all the name is “the revealing.” Jesus was telling us what to expect in the future. Some has already happened but much is yet to be. Anyone who studies, I don’t mean reads, I mean STUDIES the Bible will get the answers he needs. Let me offer a few proofs:
Mark 4:11
11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Rev 17:15
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
(KJV)Waters are people. So it is saying I saw a beast rise up out of the people(sea-water).
