This really doesn’t have to do with any apocalyptic vision, but it does have to do with a precursory event to the apocalypse. This past summer I have had three individual dreams that dealt directly with the rapture. While all three had similarities they all came to me in a different perspective.
The dream begins with my family and I walking outdoors when I look toward the nighttime sky and notice a large, brilliant star. (In one of the dreams, a rainbow hung over that star; go figure) As I turned to ask my fiance and my children to look at the star, I heard something like a heavy wooden door being slammed shut. Instantly, I felt myself leave the earth and soar toward the star. The pulling sensation in my chest was similar to the feeling of ecstasy when you freefall down a rollercoaster. I can clearly remember looking back toward earth and seeing my family traveling with me.
As for where we landed, I can’t say whether it was “heaven” or not but we were definitely standing on solid ground. Before too much time had passed, an angel appeared and commanded all who stood before him to kneel.
Unfortunately, this is as far as my dream has come. The other two times were variations of the actual rapture itself. All three times I awoke with a sense of urgency that has not left me to this day. I believe the church will be taken out of this world before the revelation of the antichrist ( and I am willing to show anyone who doubts that version of events). I know that in the last days young men shall have visions and old men will dream dreams, I’m thirty years old so I think I may have had a little of both. Needless to say, the last days are here now! Those who don’t know Christ as their saviour will ultimately experience the events of the apocalypse.
