Now the way that I see this is that basicaly you beleive what you want to beleive and you see what you want to see. Your mind is the most powerful object you will ever have and ever need. So if everyone walked around thinking the world was going to end it will most probably do just that!

Though, if we do turn things around start being optermistic about everything in stead of pesamistic, we shall get somewhere.
