Human Nature being what it is, there will be wars in the future. These wars will be fought with more powerful weapons as they become available. The problem is that there are too many “politcally immature” countries like India, Pakistan, Iran and Iraq who either possess weapons of mass destruction or are working to produce WMDs. Because of their political immaturity, they do not possess the wisdom or knowledge necessary to be responsible with WMDs and are much more likely to recklessly use them than a politically mature country like the US or Great Britain. Thus, any “apocalypse” will be a strictly human endeavor.
