Theories and proofs will more acurately depict the worlds end

My beliefs on the end of everything as we know it are not definite. I am not exactly a religious person even though I do believe in God. I find it hard to see the world coming to an end in suffering, war, plague, and famine all at once. These religious beliefs are the word of God, but may be fabrications from those who have translated it from its original tongue. The Bible to some is somewhat feasable only if it is understood that the events in the Bible are mostly explained through folk lore and not hard facts. Faith is the basis of religion, which may or may not have been created by ancient man to quell the emptiness of an unknown origin. Faith, to many people, is not enough to believe due to the expanded horizon of scientific beliefs. Now, instead of religion, people can believe in something from scientific fact, not by mear faith in a possibly mythical God. After all, an average normally educated person would be more likely to believe that man came from the ape, rather that from Adam and Eve which where wisked from the ground. They are more likely to beive that the earth was developed through the creation of our sun and evolved to nurture life, instead of believing it was slapped together in 7 days. Im not saying I dont believe in the Bible, im saying its message isnt quite clear because it isnt written scientifically. Primitive people would have a hard time understanding it if it where a 20000 page science book rather than a book of fabricated stories that explain the simple origin of man. Again Im not saying I dont believe in the Bible, Im simply stating it is to unclear to put all our fate into and yet to important to just shove aside. We can harldy deny some of the ideas of religion however, since they have proven their worth. The Bible did state the world was round over a thousand years before it was proven. And we do use religion in our time line. It is the year 1999, that is to say, 1,999 years A.D. Anything before 2,000 years ago would be considered B.C. or before Christ! I believe that scientific theories and proofs will more acurately depict the worlds end. The big bang theory is one of them. The theory that states the universe came from a point of light that suddenly exploded from the intence preasure of gravity is a scientificaly believable idea, and have stated proof to it. If it is true, the universe will some day halt after the expantion from the bang finishes, and will head towards the big crunch, where all matter will race towards one point and be condenced all into one tiny spec and start all over again. Even if this does happen, I think we will see our fate long before then. There are the great odds of collition with another interstellar body, such as an asteroid of comet. There is the possibility of wide spread plague such as the ebola virus or other undiscovered strains of a similar virus that could go out of control. There is the possibility of nuclear war fare ignited by the tention between counties. There is the Y2K problem which could as yet prove
