Nature does not reward or punish

I do not believe in a god who presides over all like a father. I believe in nature as the ACTUAL PROGRAM by which all things come into being, are encouraged to live, prosper and evolve–from the tiniest microbe to the vast cosmos. I believe that this program called nature governs all that is, and always has. It IS all that is, and always was. Nature does not reward or punish. Reward is something we perceive when things go well. Punishment is something we suspect, when things do not go well. These are simply labels are unfathoming minds have placed on what is actually NATURAL OUTCOME. Set something on fire, and the laws of nature will consume it. Nurture something and the laws of nature will cause it to thrive. One sure thing: Nature always encourages life to thrive. Nature does not play favorites. It says to the gnat, “Live!”, to the kitten, “Live!”, to the human, “Live!”, to the poison ivy, “Live!” Whatever cannot live, dies, and is transformed into more life.
