These supposed ’signs’ can easily be engineered to enrage and excite
Does it ever occur to anyone that ’signs’ as they are commonly referred to can be staged. Look at the technology at the disposal of governments and the media. Much of these supposed ’signs’ can easily be engineered to enrage and excite people into thinking that the end of the world is coming. But then here comes the zealous-lackies of religion who say ‘but the bible predicted it’. So what? Like a Shakespearean tragedy, these revelations couldn\’t be acted out. And to think that a divine being such as God has nothing better to do than sit around all day plotting the destruction of mankind. GET REAL!! True blasphemy is believing that any God condones your ignorance. Stupidity such as this only fuels my already healthy misanthropy.

There is no need to belive in ’signs’, there is no right or wrong. there is only choice. one day arguments will be irrelivant, and bodies will lie defeated by the universal conditioning conducted by men. and what is to come in afterlife will be inevitable.

There is no right or wrong? Yes, there IS. If I was to take a gun and murder someone, would it be right or wrong? Wrong.

Its not inevitable,we know that there is a Heaven and a hell. Those who accept Jesus as their Savior and let Him take all their sins and make then new, will go with Jesus to Paridise. Those who don’t accept Him will go with you to hell. YOu may think that Jesus is mean to let only those who accept Him go to Heaven, but the thing is that God said that the punishment for sin is death, and He can’t go back on HIs word, and so He sent His only Beloved Son, Jesus, to take our punishment for us. But, even though He died for the whole world, not everybody would accept that. So, He has given us a choice. Let Him take our sins and wash us clean, or do not accept His gift and go with our sins to hell.

who is to say god existes if i was to ask what proof do you have that god exist’s you would answer with proof thuse proving he does’nt exist personaly i think that religion is a code of ethic’s wich in some cases causes hate and anger

why cant you believe in God?? how else do u think this world came to be? Christianity is not neccesarily a religion, more so just believing That Jesus is God, and worshipping Him.
The Bible says that God will show Himself to you if you ask Him.

Who says that murder is wrong? Murder is not wrong. Murder is murder. To say that murder is wrong would mean that killing Hitler, or Mussolini, or Pol Pot, or Ghengis Kahn is wrong. I think we all can agree that in some instances, to NOT murder someone would be wrong. Right or wrong is not (as is commonly believed) a value system which is held true by a majority, but a system which protects the minority from a value system. In actuality, to say there is even such a thing as right or wrong is simply an uneducated statement. It would be like saying there is such a thing as cold. It’s non-tangible. It does not exist.

well in the case of war, i’d say killing is justified. but to go and kill people just be evil and KILL..is wrong.

Okay, first of all, I can barely get through the first page of this site without balking at the wrong that’s been done to the english language. I deduce that one of three things is probable: a. that you simply forgot to spellcheck (although I find this less than likely) b. that you were unaware of spellcheck, or c. that you’ve intentionally “dumbed it down” to lend some feeling of camaraderie with the masses.
Whatever the case may be, in my frustration I began reading these posts, and DAMN! Let’s just say I’m glad some of you never leave the house.
To state so ipso-facto that we KNOW there’s a heaven and hell is plain old ignorance. By the way, the word ignorance is not meant to imply stupidity, it’s meant to imply that things of importance to the statement made are being/have been IGNORED. (you kids know what a root word is, don’t you?) Anyway, I can’t have an intellectual debate with someone who bases their assumptions on faith.
As to the statement that Jesus is the Son of God, well I ask you this….
When you look into the night sky and you see all those stars, does it dawn on you that so many of those stars are as big or bigger than our own sun, and that they therefore COULD support a system of planets, has it ever occurred to you that maybe some of them MAY have like a plant, or maybe some fish on them?
Once that sinks in can you then ask yourself if God sent any of those worlds a Son?
How audacious of you to assume that if there is such a thing as a Supreme Being, that our people would be the chosen people.
Yup, money and God.
Two things implemented by Man (and for good reason) that, now in such an information charged era, run the show here on this rock.
Don’t worship either! Respect and worship your mind, after all, it’s where the concepts of money and God both sprang from.

dude, people have to worship something..and we all have to put faith or trust in something, or else life seems meaningless. And THAT IS whERe YOU GET GOD FROM. not our minds, but from the evidence around us. and ‘if’ there are other worlds, why couldn’t he have sent a savior?? why not, since HE is a GOd of Love, and obviously cares about EVERYONE??!!
the mind is deceitful. do not worship it. what can your mind do to help you when your in trouble, anyways?? and since ‘we are to worship and respect our mind’, and since it is to be our “god”, may I ask, how did that ever help anyone??

FIrst of all…let me start off by saying that “i am afraid of the apocolypse.” It scares the hell out of me. I just want somebody on this site to tell me if they think that it is really near, and why it is near…and how near they think it is. I just wanna live my full life on this earth, and not want to have to worry about bein saved and go to hell. It’s not fair that everyone before has had their full life, and mine might be cut short because Jesus decided to wait around until the middle of my great life to cut it short! Somebody please help me, and email me!…i’m goin out of my mind…

Hmm… a fairly intelligent debate nearly eroding into flame wars. Haven’t we all seen that before. Hermit, some people actually reach or excede the average human vocabulary of 6,000 words. Just because you don’t, doesn’t mean that others don’t. But I agree, spelling was a trivial matter.
Being an atheist (sort of agnostic), I find it irritating when people put so much trust in their faith. While it can be an admirable quality, when the person is blind to or just plain ignores other opinions or facts I have to leave the room because I have a short temper. Not to mention no other religion is so forcably shoved in everyone’s direction like christianity. In the words of SinFest, I’ve got nothing against God, it’s the fanboys I hate.
I personally believe that if an apocalypse is going to happen, there will be no grandiose signs, no lava falling as rain, no massive increase in flash floods. I believe the signs will be too gradual for the general population to notice. And because of this, the ‘apocalypse’ won’t just obliterate mankind, we will slowly fade away, not realising until it’s too late.
Personally, I’d prefer a grandiose display of destruction and go out with a bang, but I just can’t see it happening.

I hope I don’t sound too much like #15. “A house that is divided against itself shall not stand”. That’s how Jesus put it, I don’t really care who said it. The house represents mankind. We have no enemies but ourselves. Mankind has developed such a pschitso veiw of itself that it believes it can actually divide itself and fight it. One side or the other plans these silly little psychological attacks like doomsday prophecies and staged terrorist attacks. Nothing is going to happen people. Get over it.

We have a DARK enemy and he want’s his harvest. He is standing in front of God demanding it. He is saying thay reject you, and choose me. Their hope is in their vain knowledge. They have set up a coven in the church, with their rulers, and on their judgement benches. Jesus is not interested in harvesting souls, He wants Fruit. That is to say those who know him personally, and hears his voice. He reveals himself to anyone who loves the truth. Terrable times are ahead, and people with so called self knowlege, are the ones who’s hearts will fail them becouse of fear.

The dream I had last night, was beyond horror. I can’t begin to tell it. The bible says cruelty will be unmatched by any in the past. I saw this. Fear God.. He’s there waiting, and will reveal himself to anyone of a truthful heart. Human pride is the oposite direction, and is why the church is built on money and entertainment missing it’s purpose. Time is short, and the war I wrote of is comming. The Holy spirit told me, the kings of the north are conspiring even now with the infeltrators in our government to pave the path for this war. It’s a power strugle for endtime rule. If you could see what I’ve ben shown you would fear God in the most powerful way.
