Mankind will live on, for a long time. At least that what i think. i mean, everybody thinks 2000 is when its gonna hit, but i think thats bullshit. when the apocalypse does happen, it will be a long while from now, i think the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse will have somthing to do with it. That would most likely kill, famine plaque war and death.

Apocalypses don’t have to be the end of all human life or engulf the entire planet, the aztecs encounterred an apocalypse when the spanish invaded with their disease and gunpowder, ww2 was an apocalypse for the jewish community in poland and the killings of cambodia was an apocalypse in it’s own right.
Humans will probably either be completely wiped out by a hydrogen fusion super bomb or by a huge meteorite impact, but not by biological or chemical methods, though we may find a hugely lethal chemical that can linger in the atmosphere for millenium preventing any chance of the human race’s survival unless they can somehow produce and repair plastics in order to farm and continue, but this would be unlikely.
Our current technology would enable uise to irradiate the entire surface of the planet 3 times over but within 2 or 3 years the radiation will. be low enough for farms to be created using miles of plastic shielding from the sun and the removal of irradiated soil from the surface. Within 50 years if humans are not mutated too much the human race would start again, except this time without an ozone layer.
Humanity does linger but it does not mean that our super elite won’t hide themselves away in nuclear bunkers with a military and hundreds of girls to start a new civilisation.
Humanity is going to blow itself up before Jesus gets a chance to come.As waffle said, the elite will hide off in bunkers with women. Hundreds of Bush and Kerry babies:P
