Man is just another species that evolution has produced. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that it shall meet an end planned by a divine being. Furthermore, there are no signs of a natural catastrophe as yet, as ’signs’ like global warming and the depletion of the ozone layer may be part of a natural cycle that mankind has not been around long enough to bear witness to.

Keep your head held high! Unbelivers get thrown into a lake of fire…

And you draw these statements all according to this one book, translated once, editted many times by different kings, scholars, priests, and monks, or rather, your loose and ALARMIST interpretation of this book as FACT and not just an historical account of a certain people known as the Israelites. Did you know that the apocalyptic refferences in Daniel, and in Deuteronomy, and in Numbers, and in Joshua, and in Bel the Dragon, and Sussana, were all written as prophecy by God’s chosen, like Moses, during the Babylonian exile? That the historical account of what Moses said and did was written 700 years after the fact, and may or may not be true? Were you alive 2,700 years ago, or did you just eat too much acid and think you were? Because if you weren’t than it is all OPEN TO INTERPERATATION. The Bible is an historical and moral guide, not a tool used to spread fear of the End and control people.

Nice and refreshing pooper.
Amy, why are the unbelievers thrown into a lake of fire? Surely no one can escape the lake and warn others, so it can’t serve as an effective deterent. So, the only reason left would be if Gods wishes to punish them for no reason other than to punish them?
Is God truly so vindictive? Does God really adhere to such circular logic…?
